Perhaps one of the cruelest stories I’ve learned about this week, is the story of a child trafficker who was arrested in Ukraine. It seems he got his victims from boarding schools being used as a front for their trafficking and organ harvesting business. Yes, you read that right. Children are being trafficked in Ukraine, and some of them are having their organs harvested and sold on the black market. Denys Varodi is the child trafficker who was paid thousands of dollars to kidnap and deliver stolen children within the criminal organization.
There’s more to the story. Adoptive parents waiting on surrogate mothers to give birth are (randomly) being told their child is no longer available. Something happened, and there is no longer a child to adopt. Surrogacy is being used as a cover for organ harvesting of children. The children are considered a commodity, labeled by their blood type and what organs they have available to be harvested and sold. They are not considered to be children at all, but are looked upon as a product, to be carved up and distributed to buyers who use them for various purposes.
Human trafficking is modern day slavery. It is forcing someone into servitude, be it labor or sex, by any number of nefarious means. It is taking away someone’s freedom, and forcing them to work or perform sex acts against their will. Victims are deprived of any basic comforts. They are treated inhumanely, used for monetary gain of their captors and discarded like trash or killed when they are no longer useful.
Sadly, there is another element to human trafficking, that of organ harvesting. In a crime that is largely underreported, and that spans the globe, human organ harvesting is an extremely lucrative business. For all the advancements in science, the most viable, successful and profitable human organ transplants are human to human organs. Economically speaking, supply and demand play an intrinsic role within the underground criminal syndicate, where millions of dollars get exchanged, treating people as organ resources, buying and selling their parts with no regard to the child supplying them whatsoever.
According to World Population Review, “The United States is ranked as one of the worst countries globally for human trafficking. It is estimated that 199,000 incidents occur in the United States every year.” Most of these statistics can be traced to Washington D. C. This report was updated August 2023. It’s not only the United States and Ukraine though. Last May a Nigerian Senator and his wife were convicted in an organ harvesting, human trafficking plot.
Human trafficking is an international slave trade, where criminals make huge profits buying and selling men, women and children. Sadly, the United States is one of the biggest hubs enabling and abetting this criminal enterprise, particularly with the current policies of our open border. According to one study from back in 1995, when our borders were not nearly as open as they are today, and we definitely didn’t have as many millions of people from all over the world entering the United States,
“The U.S. Department of State, has estimated that at any given time, there are hundreds of thousands of people in the pipeline, being warehoused by traffickers, waiting for new routes to open up or documents to become available -- and their primary target is the United States (Body Sellers, 1995).”
Billions of US taxpayer dollars are being sent to Ukraine and other foreign countries in the name of foreign aid. America has been indicated as one of the top human trafficking hubs in the world (for years), all while our tax payer dollars are being sent to other countries where citizens and politicians are being arrested for their criminal activity in human trafficking organizations. Current US policies are such that millions of people from multiple countries are flooding our borders, and being shipped to various states all across the country.
According to several sources, there are nearly 100,000 missing migrant children currently in the United States. Many of them came across the southern border unaccompanied, others it appears may have been trafficked when they were sent across the country. Back in April 2023, the NY Post and other sources shared news about two US Senators, (Marsha Blackburn & Josh Hawley) demanding the US Federal Government account for nearly 85,000 missing children, and the numbers have gone up since then.
How do you lose children? How do you allow them to be trafficked and support the efforts of foreign countries that do the same? Billions of taxpayer dollars being used to assist supply and demand. Hundreds of thousands of people being trafficked around the world. This is the reality we must face today. This is the travesty we must oppose in our government. These are the people we must help and save from the crimes of government, ours and many others, being perpetrated against them.
Thank you for reading this article today. It is not enough to read about this, however. We need to speak out, demand an accounting of all the money being spent by our government. We must write and call, and do whatever it takes to get our government and law enforcement to find the missing children, and put an end to these insane border policies than enable these evil practices of human trafficking in our midst. It’s not okay. It will never be okay. And no one’s taxpayer dollars should be funding it.
Wishing you all only the best things in life,
Teresa
