In other news of late, New Mexico has the first governor to outlaw the 2nd Amendment. In her quest to do so, she declared a State of Emergency which apparently gives her the right to confiscate guns from law abiding citizens. She claims this is the only solution to ending gun violence. Cops are supposed to arrest law abiding citizens for legally carrying their guns. Because apparently the Constitution doesn’t apply when she decides this is how she wants to deal with gun violence perpetrated by criminals.
Call me crazy, but wouldn’t it be easier to lock up the criminals and keep them in jail? That way you can still let law abiding citizens who aren’t committing crimes, keep their Constitutional rights. And, if the criminals are in jail, wouldn’t that minimize crime, because the people doing these crimes aren’t out on the streets committing more crimes, because they forfeited their rights to be free citizens, when they chose to attack the public with their crimes?
Punish the guilty. Seems like common sense to me, but what do I know? For all I know I will be labeled a far right extremist for thinking that criminals belong in jail. I might be called a conspiracy theorist and end up on some list for not agreeing with these extreme and unlawful measures being taken by the New Mexico governor. Some crazy left extremist will undoubtedly label this article as misinformation. If it wasn’t so wrong, it might be a little bit funny.
What concerns me most is that if the entire country doesn’t stand up against this gun confiscating tyranny imposed by New Mexico’s governor, other governors in other states might follow her lead. There have been many instances throughout history where governments throughout the world have taken away their citizens guns. None of them ended well for the citizens. Murder by Communism is a reality.
Some of New Mexico’s state Congress is considering filing Articles of Impeachment against the governor for her actions. The people are not responding to her decree well at all, but as of when this article is being published, they are remaining peaceful. Personally, I think the governor needs to resign. I will update this article as new information becomes available.
